scatter slit and ADS

I am using a difractometer with an automatic divergence slit, with a
maximum wide of 4 degrees at 2theta=180.

If the scatter slit is 1 degree wide, are the intensities deformed
when compared with a scatter slit of 4 degrees? The receiving slit was of
0.5 degrees.
