Philips Analytical X-ray will be sold to Spectris. This
should be made effective in September. The new name
will be : PANalytical (a Spectris company).

After Siemens Analytical bought by Bruker, this is quite a
big event.

What happens really to scientific instrumentation ?
Not enough money made ?

Noted also recently : Siefert apparently bought by AGFA.
