[sdpd] Berman Balance for precision density measurements?

For measuring the density of samples for structure solution from
single crystals or powder - would anyone close to London, UK
have a Berman Balance or similar apparatus for Precision
density measurements?

Berman Balance reference (thanks to Richard Staples at Harvard):
    Berman, American Mineralogist (24) 1939, 434-440.

It is not unconceivable that a few mineralogy or geology
labs may have a Berman Balance around the place - either
deposited in a cupboard or used as an oversized paperweight?

Thanks in advance,

Lachlan.

PS: Berman Balance is referred to in the following webpage at
    Harvard University:

Berman Laboratory

"The Berman Laboratory honors the work of Associate Professor
Harry Berman, one of the world's foremost mineralogists,
who lost his life in an aircraft accident in World War II
while working on the quartz oscillator project for the U.S.
Government."

"Precision density measurements can be made using the Berman
Balance."
