I believe something that will be in Fullprof soon
is spherical harmonics for preferred orientation
and other general applications such as peak anisotropy.
(using starting code written by Robert Papoular)
If the conventional models for preferred orientation
and peak anisotropy are not serving you well - this
could well be worth waiting for.
