Rietveld with Scintag XDS2000

My powder diffractometer is a Scintag XDS2000 with a Ge solid state detector, and I
have been experiencing difficulty reproducing the certified intensities for NIST1976
(Al2O3) or getting Rwp in Rietveld refinements below about 19%. I would appreciate
comparing notes with anyone who is using the same type of instrument for Rietveld
refinements (regardless of whether Al2O3 has been attempted).
