[sdpd] Fw: Invitation to the 13th international TXRF conference (TXRF2009)

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

 

Please find enclosed the second announcement of the 13th International Conference on Total Reflection X-Ray Fluorescence Analysis and Related Methods (TXRF2009) conference in Gothenburg, Sweden. The aim of the conference is for experts and users of Total Reflection X-ray Fluorescence (TXRF) and related techniques to meet, present and discuss recent advances, research results, novel fields of applications and future directions in the field of TXRF. 

 

We hope that you will enjoy not only a rich scientific program with presentations related to the development of TXRF and exciting applications but also spend some free time in Gothenburg. Gothenburg is the largest city on the Swedish west-coast, still it has a cosy, small town atmosphere. By the end of June the sun is only down for a few hours and it never gets dark. Staying a few extra days to explore the land of the midnight sun might be a good idea.

The registration form can be downloaded directly from the Conference web site: http://www2.chem.gu.se/atmo/txrf2009.html#download. On request by e-mail we can send you a hardcopy.

 

The Abstract deadline is extended until March 16th, 2009. Please submit your abstract(s) as soon as possible.
