You're correct -- the sdpd group does not allow e-mail attachments.   
However, there's an alternative for files that can't be added to the text of  your 
posting.  The group has a file cabinet of about 20MB, and you should  be able to 
upload/download files there.  Go to the group page ( 
_http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sdpd/_ (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sdpd/)   ), look at the box on 
the left, and select "Files".  There's also a "Files  Help" button if you need 
it.
 
Then your message to the group can just reference the file by name.
