  Thin films / powder diffraction postdoc position - Trento, Italy

The Department of Materials Engineering at the University of Trento, Italy
is looking to fill a postdoctoral research fellowship on
" Characterization of thin films and nanocrystalline materials by
synchrotron radiation X-ray diffraction ".

The duration of the contract is two years (with possible renewal). The
successful candidate will be located predominantly at the National
Synchrotron Radiation Facility ELETTRA in Trieste, Italy. The research
involves, training at the University of Trento, design and setup of the
experimental station for the thin films and powder diffraction beamline at
ELETTRA, and research activity in the field on nanocrystalline materials
and thin films. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry,
Materials Science or related subjects. Experience in X-rays or neutron
diffraction and computer analysis/programming is preferred. Deadline for
