[sdpd] STX:RIET: New Gretep, Poudrix and Chekcell for Windows by Jean Laugier and Bernard Bochu
There are new versions of some of the LMGP Suite software
for Windows by Jean Laugier and Bernard Bochu
Poudrix: (calculating Powder diffraction patterns (including the
ability to use Anomalous Dispersion co-effecients at all
wavelengths - "Brenann and Cowan" or "Sasaki" models)
- addition of U.D.Altermatt and I.D.Brown's Getspec spacegroup
code for allowing point and click use of Hermann-Maugn, Hall,
Spacegroup Numbers, information on general and special positions.
Gretep: (Grenoble Thermal Ellipsoids Plot Program)
- bug fixes to coloured fragments and modified verson of the
program in order to use c monoclinic setting and GETSPEC.
(Tutorial on how to setup WinGX to spawning external programs
uses "Gretep" as the example program:
http://www.ccp14.ac.uk/tutorial/wingx/adding_custom_menu.htm )
Chekcell: (Graphical Powder Indexing Cell and Spacegroup Assignment
helper software)
- There was an error in the hexagonal system detection when
doing a "best solution" on trial cells found in LePage sub-cell
and super-cell searching
(Chekcell interlinks with Robin Shirley's "Crysfire" Powder indexing
suite: http://www.ccp14.ac.uk/tutorial/crys/ )
