Lachlan,

It is a pity that neither you nor Harry, both with a good unbiased overview,
are available.

Simon is a good scientist, but computing as a research interest is not
on his CV (That I happen to have here in view of a projected promotion).

I am not sure whether Ralf is sufficiently unbiased.

You can suggest me as a substitute (officially there is a problem
because I was also part of the Florence program committee, but things 
might be different for a substitute).

When that does not work, we will have to think again.
